We’re proud to see the release of a comprehensive Local Area Profile product developed in collaboration with Laois County Council, supporting both the Local Enterprise Office Laois and Laois Planning Department.

These profiles cover ten key settlements across the county, using insights from 📊 Census 2022 to provide a rich understanding of each area.

Highlights include (see animation below):

🗺️ Detailed maps of walking and cycling catchments (supporting the 10-minute town concept),

🏘️ Insights into residential development patterns (supporting CDP monitoring),

🏥📚 Mapping of key community facilities and services (supporting LECPs).

These profiles, for Laois and other local authorities, are already proving to be a valuable tool in Local Area Plan development and public consultation processes.
